Adapting our desire to evolve the architectural language while at the same time honoring our desires for accessibility to North America’s greatest features: The Outdoors.

Our pre-fabricated shelter is intended to be be able to be constructed quickly out of locally & sustainably sourced materials. The only necessary heavy machinery would consist of a CNC Fabrication for milling. While the intention is for structure to merge with and become a proper shelter for hikers, backpackers, and outdoorsman seeking reprieve form the elements, it also aims to leave as little impact on the land as possible by maintain its structural integrity while meeting the earth at the bare minimum number of points.

For this project we specify “South East” as we aim to make a variety of structures, each specific to the vernacular in which the structure will be placed. ( Wood in the south east, compressed earth/ adobe in the western states, etc.
