Ellis Street Essentials is a community cafe with the desire to be more for the area it serves. With its small footprint in the historic downtown area, only a few blocks from the river the project offers a much bigger opportunity to serve the surrounding area.

The renovations: Over the years the project has served as and arcade, a barber shop, coffee, shop and even a punk rock music venue. Throughout its life this building has served the community in a variety of ways and in its renovations the goal was to continue those efforts. Existing Grocery, Deli & Restaurant concept with strict and uniqe operational needs .  Providing food services for a historic downtown area in Augusta, GA within an underserved community existing within a food desert by day, and serving the nearby hotel guests and late evening customers by kitchen at night.
